I use Bearshare often, I even subscribed with the company (i'm going on my first month tomorrow). But what I am comfused about even though you subscribe and pay the monthly fee, you still have to pay for the premium tracks or subscribe tracks.
If that is the case what is the use of signing up with them when you have to make a monthly payment then also pay for the cd or track that do not make any sense?
Do abearshare musicnyone know of any trustworthy music download sites with subscription??
The reason bearshare charges for tracks and limewire doesn't is because Bearshare was sued by the RIAA and lost hundreds of millions of dollars because they allowed illegal downloads. Limewire has been sued as well, but the case won't go to trial until May, so they still don't charge. But basically, the reason you have to pay for certain trbearshare musicacks is because bearshare is now legal. On the positive side, the fact that they're legal means that you don't have to worry about downloading viruses or anything like that.
Any legal service will charge you. Stick with someplace like iTunes or Rhapsody.
Um i use free bearshare and its quite good. Better than limewire PRO actually. Just use free bearshare and save a few bucks.
