i had a youtubedownloader 2.1.7 which i got from cnet downloads. it worked fine but just lately it couldn't download flv files from youtube anymore. it says "unable to find flash file" or it asks for a username and password for age verification eventhough the flv file i'm downloading is not adult oriented (like piano tutorials etc). i also had VDownloader but it also wasn't able to download ("error downloading" messages) so i tried downloading other flv downloaders like Getgo (from cnet),FLV downloader (one that has carrot logo), and Flashcatch (also both from cnet) but Flashcatch had limitation of only bflv downloader free downloadelow 10MB and FLV downloader had usage limit so i wasn't able to use those. i also had other two versions of youtube downloader (one with a YouTUBE logo and the other has a GUI that has some sort of like a radar at the upper left) but weren't able to detect flash files (even when i enter the URL) as well.
can you please recommend a link where i can download a free software that can download FLV files (preferably no limitations and can download also from other websites not just youtube) thanks in advance
