listen to musicHow can i listen to music backwards?

Do I need a certain software to play music backwards? I heard there messages sent to your mind but we don't know what it is, but it only shows in our actions and feelings.
Thanks!
There's actually a website called TalkBackwards.com which allows you to upload music and listen to it in it's 'reversed' form.

Here's the link :)

You can buy software that will do it for $79.95

The link below it is from a 2004 forum discussion I found with a google search just now. It's freeware (if it still works)
Playing records backwards was kind of a fad for a while back when vinyl records (LP, EP, 45, 78) were the current technology of the day. One could put the "needle" on the "wrong" side of the spindle and play the record backwards.

People would listen to them backwards and convince themselves that from time to time they would hear some real words. This was purely coincidence, but a popular notion took hold tlisten to musichat this was purposeful. Bear in mind, it had recently been revealed that some movie theaters had been adding subliminal messages, encouraging people to buy more snacks and beverages. Therefore people latched onto the idea that if there were hidden "messages" in the songs, that they must be subliminial in nature.

You can do this with an MP3 with Audacity, found at SourceForge:

Window's "Sound Recorder" program (Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Entertainment -> Sound Recorder) will play .WAV files backwards.

Wikipedia has a rather lengthy discussion of the topic.
Download free Audacity (for mp3's and wav's) and it will let you reverse them. Actually I use Adobe Audition, but it's not free.

I see the low IQ thumbs down trolls are out and about...

A neat backwards track is from Prince's Purple Rain CD. Check it out!
turn your chair around......
Most dj programslisten to music will let you play songs backwards. Just go to download dot com or somewhere like that.
Back in the day when records and albums were made of vinyl, and were played on a turntable, you could actually play a song backwards.

Supposedly there were messages hidden in the Beatles' White Album, but I never heard anything. This was back in 1968.

I don't think it's possible to play any other kind of music data backwards. I could be wrong...don't always keep up on the lastest...still listening to vinyl record albums....

Good luck.
I do know an "old-school" way to play music (or anything recorded) backwards, on a cassette tape. Just fold the tape over at each end so the back is showing.
This used to work when we heard that Led Zeppelin was talking about satan in the 70's.
